Dr. Lynne Elkins

Lynne is an analytical geochemist, igneous petrologist, and volcanologist who has been researching, measuring, and modeling uranium-series disequilibria and magma compositions since she was a graduate student in 2003. Together with Marc Spiegelman, she worked on and published the original `pyUserCalc` code, and she is currently the main administrator for the model package and the active code repository on GitLab. She also currently leads the Magma Genesis research group at West Chester University.

Postdoctoral research associate

Dr. Smitha Haridasan

Dr. Smitha Haridasan is a Instructor – Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the West Chester University. Her research focuses on geoscience modeling, applying her expertise in computational methods to improve magma flow and uranium-series disequilibria modeling. In addition to research, she develops and manages the geoscience tutorial website Magma Genesis, making complex modeling concepts more accessible to researchers and students.
