Welcome to Magma Genesis!! Here you will find tools, links, and resources for computational modeling of the chemical and isotopic compositions of magma and lava, intended for research and educational use. We host web and video tutorials for using process-based models that predict the composition of magma, given a set of initial conditions and a magma generation mechanism. Note that these tools are available for free, but are protected by various intellectual licenses and copyright, and references should be cited in any published work that uses them.
